Limeburners – Single Malt, American Oak, Bourbon Cask Matured, avg 5 – 8 years. 43% ABV
Of the Great Southern Distilling Co, this is a single malt from one of the oldest whisky distillers of this modern period. Bold yet approachable with strong malted barley characteristics and matured and finished in ex-bourbon American oak barrels, Limeburners American Oak exhibits gentle citrus and honey aromas, upfront spice, and vanilla notes. The average age of this whisky is 5 to 8 years. 43% ABV
Launceston Distillery – Single Malt Bourbon Cask Matured. 46% ABV
Honouring the best traditions of single malt whisky while also capturing the essence of northern Tasmania. Matured in small American oak casks previously used to age fine bourbon whisky. A light whisky with fragrant aromas, it has been doubled distilled and is non-chill filtered to retain depth of character. With a bright fragrant aromas with hints of vanilla, honey and pear. The taste is a soft mouthful with subtle sweet bourbon notes. 46% ABV
Kinglake Distillery – O’Gradys Stand, Single Malt, Bourbon Cask Matured. 46% ABV
A mash-bill of four different malts, three from Griffiths NSW, one of which is roasted to chocolate, together with a heavily peated malt from the Scottish borders in the UK with cuts that are deep to give the heavy, oily spirit. Aged in small-format ex-bourbon barrels from Kentucky, re-coopered here in Australia. 46% ABV
