This spice comes from the tree called pimenta dioica, also known as Jamaican Pepper, that originates from the southern parts of Mexico, Guatemala, Cuba and Jamaica. Botanically speaking, it is not a real pepper.
Contribution: this aromatic spice is a surprise among all the other spices. It offers a mix of cinnamon, nutmeg and clove, with a touch of juniper and pepper. That’s why it is called allspice in English.
Combines with: G’vine, Citadelle, Bombay Sapphire, Mombasa, Larios 12, Spiced Rums, Caribbean cocktails (e.g. Pineapple punch).
How to use: directly in the glass: two corns gently crushed with your fingers. Either grinded or infused, alone or together with other botanicals.
Contains: 65g of allspice
