Intro to Aussie Gin 4 Pack
Serving suggestions and gin tasting notes

The pack includes a selection of four of the following gins:

Animus Distillery – Macedon Dry Gin

An homage to the best of the old world gins, with a unique twist and balanced intensity provided by the use of Australian native lemon myrtle and mountain pepper berry, and a freshness provided by local estate-grown ingredients.

Serving Suggestion

Try this gin with StrangeLove No. 8 tonic, garnished with a slice of lemon and a sprig of rosemary.

Settlers Spirits – Rare Dry Gin

Driven by the aromatics of orange and lemon myrtle and finishing with native pepper berry. A classic London dry gin style. The citrus bouquet is fresh and juicy with lemon myrtle and orange peel. A vibrantly spicy, nicely poised fresh citrus mid palate with a peppery finish.

Serving Suggestion

Try a slice of lime and a small piece of fresh thyme or a twist of orange zest and a small piece of fresh rosemary or, even better, a slice of ripe mango with a sprinkle of freshly ground black pepper.

Distillery Botanica – Moore’s Dry Gin

A classic juniper and citrus dominant London dry style of Gin, enlivened with a selection of Australian native botanicals. It is the first Australian gin to ever win gold at the prestigious London International Wine and Spirit Competition. London dry gin style with Macedonian juniper and Australia native Wild Lime leading the way.

Serving Suggestion

Best served at a G&T garnished with lime zest and a lime wedge, or try neat.

Poor Toms – Sydney Gin

World-class craft distillery Poor Toms, based in Sydney, is dedicated to creating amazing gin. Their original Sydney Dry Gin is an easy‑drinking, fruit‑driven style with a classic juniper backbone, featuring green apple, strawberry gum leaf and chamomile flavours. Through their inspiration and focus, Poor Toms are creating gins unlike anyone else out there.

With a classic juniper backbone this gin is anything but. Featuring fresh green apple, native strawberry gum leaf, and chamomile this is an extremely easy going gin in a surprisingly fruit driven style.

Serving Suggestion

Garnish with a strawberry to draw out those strawberry gum leaf characters.

McHenry Distillery – Classic Dry Gin

An elegant smooth gin – like a magic carpet ride of the botanicals. Citrus peel is present and balanced with a small amount of star anise, coriander seeds, cardamon and orris root all beautifully balanced with the juniper. This gin is a very popular product at our sales locations.

Serving Suggestion

Wandering Distillery – Odyssey Gin

The most recent addition to the Wandering Distillery gin line up – Odyssey is a great representation of our journey so far. Conceived in Victoria, refined in Western Australia and launched amid the Covid pandemic it’s definitely taken an interesting path to get to this point. Featuring a beautiful balance of 9 botanicals including finger lime, lemon myrtle, hemp and rosemary Odyssey is a versatile gin that can be savoured neat or with your favourite tonic selection.

Serving Suggestions

Odyssey is a really versatile gin that can work with:

Cape Byron Distillery – Brookie’s Byron Slow Gin

Brookie’s Byron Slow Gin is the first of its kind. Made in the traditional style of the English ‘Sloe’ gin, Brookie’s Byron Slow Gin showcases a unique rainforest fruit native to the subtropical region of Byron Bay, the Davidson Plum. We steep these plums in our Byron Dry Gin and let time weave its magic. Expect exhilarating flavours of rose, watermelon, and bright plum.

Serving Suggestions

Serve neat over ice or with a dash of soda or ginger beer.
